The Real Housewives of Orange County couple shared the ravaging news that Slade’s 22-year-old child, Grayson Arroyo-Smiley, hasactually passed away. In a declaration published to Gretchen’s Instagram page on Feb. 7, Gretchen and Slade stated they are “beyond ravaged and sad” over the loss.
“He was an Angel on this earth and an extraordinary warrior…a warrior like no one has ever seen priorto,” they stated. “He battled daily through his discomfort and pain to discover delight in the tiniest of things. He was constantly singing & dancing & laughing inspiteof his scenarios.”
Gretchen and Slade—who called their 3-year-old child Skylar Gray as a nod to Grayson—continued, “Although his life was cut brief on earth he made an amazing effect on so numerous individuals. The Lord understood his life had function and would touch numerous along the method. We are permanently grateful for the lotsof lessons discovered from this little male, and will missouton his gorgeous spirit tremendously.”
